Despite heavy snowfall blanketing Detroit, the host city, the two-day event at the Gabriel offices showcased how shared expertise in brake technology could transcend both weather and geographical boundaries.

Under the expert guidance of Brendan Morris, VP Sales and Marketing, and Garnett Davis, Applications Engineering Manager from GRI Engineering, the event fostered an environment of deep technical discussion and collaboration.

Stewart Wren (MFG), Jens Thuesen (Meneta), and Nicholas Ishii-Dodson (Roulunds) led sessions on brake discs, shims, and pads respectively, delivering a masterclass that highlighted MAT Foundry Group's pivotal role in developing and manufacturing critical braking system components.

The event was particularly notable for the attendance of MAT Holdings Group owner Steve Wang and Paul Thomas, President of North America and Global Friction, underscoring the importance of these collaborative initiatives within the broader MAT family of companies.
